Donating through Cornell University
Cornell gifts that are allocated to the Hillcrest SAE Development Fund are used to fund renovations and capital improvements to Hillcrest.
Since 2010, donations to the Hillcrest SAE Development Fund have contributed over $1.725 million to renovate: the Sieling Lounge, the Heylin Suite, a full room reconfiguration, the New Wing roof repair, window replacement, deck replacement, and the kitchen.
Decisions about how these funds are used require the joint approval of the NY Alpha Alumni Association board and Cornell University. If you are interested in sponsoring a project you would like to propose for consideration, please contact the alumni association.

A Cornell Fund Gift to the Hillcrest SAE Development Fund Goes Twice As Far
By allocating your Cornell Fund gift to the Hillcrest SAE Development Fund, both Cornell and NY Alpha are credited with the full amount of the donation. You receive full credit and recognition for your gift with both entities. That doubles the impact of your gift.
Furthermore, the actual dollar amount of your gift can be doubled through matching gift programs available through thousands of employers. Just check the box on the pledge card and enclose your company’s matching gift form with your donation. Matching gifts enable you and your employer to receive credit for supporting Cornell University and NY Alpha.
Remember that money from the Hillcrest SAE Development Fund is being used to fund renovations and capital improvements to Hillcrest, as well as to support reinstatement of the chapter at Cornell.
